And the next problem....
Busted a rear leaf spring shackle...spring crushed the rear tank fill tube and thru the bed.....stopped by a sandbag! Anyway, will have the replacement bracket in in the morning at the stealership. Whats the trick to those four big rivets? Im guessing drop the spare and drill them out....how the hell do you get the new ones in? With a big effing hammer??? Please tell me i can save the $200 quoted for labor and do this myself??? And then as ive got to repair/replace the rear fill tube, what are my options? Any mods to make that sucker flow better???

are you replacing the shackle or the hanger/shackle assembaly. if your taking the hanger off of the truck use a grinder and cut the heads off of the rivets and punch them through the new hanger will come with 4 new bolts to mount it

what he said. as for the fill tube i have no idea. my personal opinion is that the fuel must flow horizontally for a ft or so if you can make it some downward slope it would help
