Aux Transmission Cooler

Now that the temps are a bit warmer I've noticed my trans temp creeping up while crawling through the hills in 4x4. I don't wheel the truck, mainly just towing my buddies lifted and locked samurai up to the trails.
Truck already has a 6.0 transmission cooler, which works great, except at low speeds. Also has a manual TC lockup switch which was good for a ~20 degree drop.
Got my eyes on a Derale 13700 transmission cooler with a 650cfm fan attached: Derale 13700 Derale Electra-Cool Remote Oil/Trans Cooler
Anyone have experience running one of these?
My other question is, should I use the 180* inline thermostat, or wire it up to an on/off switch? I'm thinking an on/off switch would be ideal, as a 180* temp after passing through the lines would be considerably higher in the pan.

Any input appreciated.

Are you running the cooler in the radiator (as well as the 6.0)? That would help with low-speed cooling. Cheers!

Yeup, radiator to 6.0 cooler and back to trans. Flow is good, so I know neither cooler is restricted.
Thinking about running fluid to 6.0 then to fan unit, and eliminating the radiator cooler.
