smoke/rollin coal/dropping bombs....whatever you call it

well heres the story, ran into a kid who had a 96 f350, thing really blew some smoke with just a tuner on it. he said its 100% stock other than the tuner ,exhaust and intake. To myself I figured its either a cali truck or has injectors from previous owner because it really smoked a lot.

I just want to know if anyone else on here with a non cali obs and stock 90cc injectors is "rollin coal" with just some tunes...or even video? idc about smoke this is just something that I would like to personally know.

I have a 96 F250 thats stock expect a tune, intake, and exhaust and when its on extreme mode it blows coal like you wouldn't believe. Even on race mode it blows a little but only when i really step on it. It comes in handy for those annoying bikers or priuses.

i have had both cali and non cali 97 f250's, and ive had both custom and edge tunes, the single shots in the non cali blow more smoke on the edge programmer, by a lot, and its quite a bit, the split shots did blow smoke but not as much, and with my custom tunes it mostly hazes and almost no smoke, but the edge all but killed the tranny in my non cali model rode around at like 210* so if he is running only an edge i highly recommend he gets custom or gets rid of it entirely

so i guess it is true that the edge will kill the trans huh? ive never had experience with them only what i hear. you cant control the transmission at all with an edge?
