several questions about mods

GOT SEVERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT MODS.
FIRST, 96 F250 4X4, 7.3PS, E40D TRANS. K&N AIR FILTER 3 INCH DOWN PIPE TO 4'' PIPE, TO "HIGH FLOW MUFFLER" TO 5'' TIP. CHEAP A$$ TUNER(?)( 3 POSITION SWITCH, AND ROATAING RISTOR SWITCH WITH A GRND, WIRE TO THE THROTTLE, ONE TO THE ICP SWITCH)
I AM WANTING TO DO A COUPLE OF THINGS TO GET A LITTLE MORE OUT OF THE OL TRUCK. THE MORE I READ, THE MORE CONFUSED I GET ABOUT INJECTORS, HPOP,ETC. I KNOW EVERYONE HAS THEIR ON OPIONS ON WHAT CAN, AND SHOULD BE DONE. THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER, AND I DONT HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO DUMP INTO IT. FOR THE TIME BEING, THE STOCK INJECTORS WILL HAVE TO DO!
FROM WHAT I READ... A TS CHIP IS A MUST HAVE.
I AM INTERESTED IN DOING THE ICM MOD. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THE CORRECT RESISTOR?
WHAT KIND OF AIR INTAKE IS RECOMENDED?
WHAT IS A 17*HPOP?
WHAT IS A SHIMMED FPR?

I AM PLANNING ON ORDERING THE A PILLAR GAUGE POD, FOR A PYRO, BOOST, AND TRANS TEMP. GAUGES ( SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ALREADY ).

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT!!!

I would recommend a Tony Wildman chip over a TS chip. www.totaldieselperformance.com. ICM mod, what do you mean? ICP or IDM, or ???. I recommend an AFE stage 2 intake, if thats too pricy you can get a short piece of 4" exhaust pipe and a napa 6637 filter and make your own intake. Shimmed fuel pressure regulator "FPR" is a simple mod where you put a bb in the regulator to bump the fuel pressure up. I dont have a link to that mod, maybe someone else will.

You have all those mods and dont know what a 17* hpop is. Your truck has one. The earlier model trucks have a 15* hpop that is slightly lower capacity than the updated 17*.

Go ahead and get the gauges and intake. Shim the FPR with a BB, and get a Tony Wildman Chip. After you save up a while, look into tranny upgrades. Then, maybe some stage 1 injectors.

Like pipe said, don't get too caried away with mods until you do some tranny upgrades. And most people view Tony Wildman as "THE MAN" when it comes to OBS trucks. He can burn a chip to the mods you have and later down the road when you get some stg. 1 sticks he can reburn the chip to make the most of them.
