Snap ring on FPR

has anyone ever taken the snap ring out of the fpr and pulled it all completely apart to clean it?
i swore i saw a write up a long time ago about it but i cant find it anywhere.

nope, im asking about that snap ring on the bottom that the hardline goes into. thanks though
