Interior color change?

Is this possible? I'm looking at getting an OBS truck and I found a nice one but it has the ugly blue interior. I would like the tan or gray if I could. I was thinking of just getting some color bond and painting the dash, door panels, a pillar moldings etc and then just trying to find some matching seats or just using seat covers or something, and then getting a replacement carpet kit to match. Has anyone done this or have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

a few guys on here painted theirs black, but easiest method is to try the u pull and swap it over and sell the blue stuff off to get it back, good luck

I'd reccomend just to get the interior pieces. In my 84 I pulled the entire interior, washed it down etc. I hit it with several coats of plastic paint, and then a couple coats of clear coat and let it sit a week or so. In the end it started chipping, but I was going from tan to black and the interior pieces were also 30 some years old. I did use vinyl paint on my seats and that looked good for a while, but if I had to do it again I would just re upholster. I was originally wanting to black out my obs interior, but have grown to love the gray, especially after remembering what type of difficulty in what is the past.

Lol I can not stand blue. I like black, then grey, then red, then tan, then blue.
