miss at high rpms

my truck has a miss at high rpms, running stages 1's 17* hpop and chip, it does it more when chip turned up. maybe ipr or icp? how could i test these? or maybe something completly different, any suggestions?

u can try to un plug the icp, the c.e.l. will come on but if it clears, and stops missing in the upper rpms then u need to replace it 180.00 from ford.

theres not really a certain range like yesterday i was in o/d with the t/c locked up and kicked it but it didnt downshift and missed real hard. kinda feels like the truck shuts right off and starts up again. but usually above 2500 rpms. and it did it before i did any mods to the truck.

Mine was ICP when it had the same thing going on, pull the plug, if there is oil in the plug its shot, dont even need to test it

Was there oil in the plug when you pulled it?

i just unplugged the sensor and there was no oil.
