Exhaust leak and seems like no boost\\ power?

I have a 1996 f250 powerstroke and I know I have a small exhaust leak near the manifold drivers side and when I rev it exhaust poors out the fender well and it's like it's hitting a rev limiter very weird? No boost maybe? Think the exhaust leak is making this happen? Thanks guys!

Any exhaust leak pre turbo will kill your boost. Air will take the path of least resistance, which is the atmosphere as oposed to turning the turbine.
