Coolant leak in flex plate cover

Hey everyone, I am new to this and I have just bought. 96 f250 powerstroke, I have a coolant leak comming out of the flex plate over? Has anyone ever had this before? Any help would be nice! Thanks!

I would make sure it isnt comming from above before I pulled the trans.....

Get right up there...I use a spotlight when searching. Transmissions are less fun to pull than looking at the top of the engine hahaha

Ya, it only leaks when running. Then when you shut it off it drips for a few minutes and stops? Haha

Have you noticed your coolant fluid going low in the fill tank? I am having the same problem with something leaking out of the trans inspection area but I thought mine was diesel, didn't know that coolant would run out that area too.

Yes it is getting low, I have not had a chance to really get in there. But it is coolant, and iit just drips out that little hole in the flex plate cover!! Pain in the ***!
