UPDATE:Help Pls Tranny Down

Hey All,
Driving to work tonight and when my tranny shifts it feels like I am getting rear-ended. Very very hard shifts, I was only about a 1/4 form home so I limped it back home and took the wife's truck to work. The OD light is flashing as well. Have had no probs driving it before tonight. No hard shifts, no funny noises.
We were planning to take it to Kansas on Saturday, any help is greatly appreciated.
Craig

Went out to the truck this morning and and While I was sitting there I remembered that my speedometer and tach didn't work last night when this problem was going on. I checked my fuses and I had pulled the #8 fuse because I didn't want the cargo lights getting hot (see older posts for explanation). Anyways, I re-installed that and started her up. Checked the fluid and I was a little low, but no Flashing OD light. Drove around the block and no shift problems. Having said that, I am on my way to get a code reader just to make sure nothing else is going on. Could the missing fuse have caused my problem?
Thanks,
Craig
