1997 Injectors Fit a 1996
Will they fit i found a set for 100 at a junk yard gonna get them rebuilt. But are the swappable?

Yes, they are the same and will fit. The only issue you may run into is if the injectors aren't stock or are from a CA truck, then you will need tunes to run them.

i bleve its federal emmisions. and are out of a work truck wich is standerd shift. so they will fit? im gonna get them rebuilt

as long as it's not a cali truck the injectors will fit. Probably not many cali trucks in Connecticut.

Is there a tag that says its a califonia truck? Should i grab the hpop also? I want the whole motor but they said no! Reason why i want the hpop is i cant have my truck down when i have them rebuilt daily driver.

Right side(aka pass) valve cover should have a tag with blue writing that talks about cali emissions. I was certain my truck was only 49 state but just yesterday I read my tag and realized I was wrong despite reading said tag.

If the GP relay is still there, look for a metal shunt on it. If it's there, its a Cal truck.

that pass side valve cover will have light blue writing btw, big square sticker towards front of engine

Can you buy the whole motor piece by piece? Still might come out ahead
