Ran AE Scanner and got some codes
My CEL light is randomly intermittent. I noted that sometimes when I push the park brake pedal all the way to the floor and then release it, my truck will have a change in idle and then the WTS light will come on. I attribute it to a loose wire somewhere as it doesn't do it all the time. (This is all kind of guessing).
So today I ran tests with my new AE scanner. My CCT came out successfully, and my buzz wouldn't run because I had a couple of codes. I had these: P0381, P1396, P1000.
For the first code it is Glow Plug/Heater Indicator Circuit which would make me think that my wire theory is correct. However, when I bought the truck the PO referenced that the bowl heater needed replacing, would this tie in to this code?
The glow plugs are brand new.
I do get smoke on startup, but it is white and goes away. It does start with the gps, so I am pretty sure they are working.
Lastly, I ran a cct test after figuring out how to monitor my coolant, and oil temp and make sure they were in range. I brought it home and started the cct, boy I was sure freaking out that I was destroying my truck.
Is there anyway that I can monitor hpop pressure?
In my setup I have icp pressure, and injector pulse width.I'm not real sure what those mean, but they are cool to look at and I know that they are related to injector function.
