why does it die?!?

alrighty i got a 97 7.3 and when i first got it had the weep hole on the lift leaking bad. sometimes when i got on it and let off the pickup just dies. i thought it might be fuel pressure or something. but after a new lift pump it happened to me again. any idea what it might be?

Yes I picked up 18hp at the rear tire on the dyno from doin it on my truck. I have done over a dozen for 94.5-03 trucks from completely stock to built trucks and stock guys feel the added power instantly and u deff feel it if u have a chip and mods also
