My First Powerstroke

I've been a lurker on here for about 3-4 years, ever since my buddy bought a 6.0, to research problems he had and the like. He's always told me to get a Powerstroke, but I've been a Cummins guy since I bought one at sixteen (4 years ago). I've had three since then, and my last one (97 12 valve) was a complete POS as far as the truck went. So I sold it (Finally) and bought this

It's a 1995 F250 4x4 XLT with 150k miles.
I live right on the Ga/Tenn line and this truck was in Colorado. It was a smoking deal and at a dealership so I put a deposit on it and drove out to get it. 2340 miles later it was in my dad's yard. It needs flywheel/clutch, possibly some injectors (runs rough until warm in the morning), and definitely an OEM grille. It has brand new paint and line-x bedliner.

My wife bought some refurbished alcoa wheels for me for Christmas, but we just closed on a house this week so money gonna be a little tight for a while. But, hopefully, I will be able to get some stuff done to it relatively soon.

Hopefully it will be a WHOLE lot more truck than my dodge was.

welcome to the org, that truck looks familiar too, the whole pik does actually, but if your having those kind of issues, swap to a single mass flywheel and a good clutch kit like south bend, for your injectors issues look for rosewood diesel, he has some good deals on rebuilding them to factory stage one or stage 2's, does the truck have any mods other than the turn down at the end of the tail pipe?

Well it has a 4'' exhaust and 3" DP. It has boost, pyro, oil pressure, and water temp gauges,
and I believe in another thread I posted it was you who told me it probably has some form of chip or tune because it has more power than stock and smokes lightly.

It has the dented door and fender mod on the driver's side, but I can't complain for 4k bucks lol

Two-tone FTW. Gotta wonder if it's a repaint, since there's no 4x4 stickers on the bed. And a five-speed, double bonus. Def. opt for a single-mass flywheel, since it's time. You'll get more out of that exhaust if you let it breathe _in_ better as well (6637).

Def looks better with the Alcoas. Hang onto those caps; they're not cheap. To be honest, the fit on that billet grille is ick. I'd consider reverting to stock. Something's up with the cab mounts; it's sitting a little lower than the bed on the passenger side.

Home ownership and out of the rent rabbit-hole at 20; good on you! And that's some beautiful country you live in. If I didn't actually get a kick out of the insane winters we get here, the GA/TN stateline area would be top of the list. We drove through there for my dad's funeral in August; breathtaking, even from the Interstate.

Yeah, I love it here. We live right at the foot of the moutains and not too many people can say that. It def. is a beautiful place.

It is most def. a repaint.
The front right bed bolt was loose. It has been tightened since those pictures and is level now.
An OEM grille is on the list. I've never been a fan of billet grilles. An intake is on the list too.
Thanks for the good words!
