gear vendor

Anyone use one with these diesels. I had one on a 454 suburban in the 80's. It worked very well. I dont do any really heavy hauling with mine.

I've always wanted one of these to get the extra ratios, especially double OD for light cruising. I'm also curious about folks' experiences with it.

It only drops your crusiing rpm about 250 rpm. It all helps but you have to factor in the cost compared to the benefits. Where it shines is towing on hills....

yeah that huge gap between 3rd and 4th gets really old when towing a lot

have you guys seen how much these are?? almost $3k. It would take alot of gas milage to make that up. I saw where someone says the gear vendor is stock item on a volvo?? You can get the adaptor to make it work???

gera vendor actually recommends not towing with it lol, they have a write up on it in diesel world i think it was, had it installed on a dodge
