Chrome Strips
I am repainting my truck in the spring. Tuetoning it. I bought Factory mirrors, cab lights tail lights and two tone paint stripe.
Where can i get a chrome strip that goes down the side of the truck. I know lmc has it but is it any good? I cant see spending 500 at ford for them. |

In your avatar it looks like you have the strips already? I reused mine when I had the bedside repainted. Unless yours are damaged?

ford still even has them? $500 is pricy for just a little bit of body trim

are you talking about the chrome and black surround moulding (can be white as well) or the chrome plates that follow the lower part?

the chrome and black ones. i dont know if the lmc truck ones are any good and if im paying 4000 for a paint job im not wasting money in cheap trim pieces.

Holy Smokes $4000 for a paint job. That seems very expensive.

yea im tue toning it. yea that just a qoute he fixing bed rust replacing fenders and raditor support for me also so it seems fair with all that work. If it was just paint id say no way. He is painting door jams in side of doors and fixing the little rust spots in the inside seam of the door.
