It's Official

Just had to let everyone know that I have officially Mod'ed my truck. Have had it for two years and has been bone stock. Finally got a new ProFlow Exhaust and down pipe along with a TYMAR kit. Just got back from the test drive and very happy. Next step is gauges and custom tuned chip.

Not sure what has taken so long. I felt like the truck was great as it was and was afraid that I would shorten the longevity of the engine. Now that I have been able to better understand the reasons behind the modifications, it just makes sense. I will be putting gauges and a chip, and an eventual Dana60 swap. I think that will be the extent of it for me.

When I purchase my chip is the truck capable of putting out the hp for the 80 hp economy with the stock injectors?

I've heard that 80 economy doesn't do much because there's not enough oil with the stock HPOP. Where are you getting your chip from?
