i need to change my front end u joins for the 4wheel drive soon. so im just wondering if anyone would know how much money a job like that would cost. also im haveing a fuel leak near the fuel filter on the top of the engine and idk if its coming from the fuel filter drain valve or the fuel pump? And i have a small oil leak from the front of the engine? any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Sean |

Lol, I cant really help you but i have to comment because i found it hilarious.
I have a 97 powerstroke and i need to replace my front u joint, and i also have a small oil leak and i believe a small fuel leak due to the smell of diesel around my truck, i dont think my fuel leak drips, but i do drip a very small amount of oil. I think my oil leak is my HPOP. front ujoint shouldn't be that expensive, I did it on a friends truck and its a bit of a pain, but i doubt the parts are expensive, maybe 30$ per side? |

I don't know about the u joints, but as for the leaks: Replacement O-rings for Ford Diesel Engines I'm guessing hpop & fuel bowl o rings/etc. Hope this helps

front U joints should cost too much, just make sure you have the right tools to get the hubs off...and when you have it all torn apart i'd pry see what kind of shape the ball joints and axle seals/bearings etc are in...i did a write up when i did ball joints over on the nation if you wanna see what it takes to get it all apart
