97 powerstroke

would not start took battery cable off to clean and it started the next day would not start tried taking battery cable off still will not start

Wts coming on? Tach reading anything while cranking? White smoke? Cranking fast enough?

cranks normal tach about 1 or 200 no smoke

So you took the battery off for what reason?

Lastly, you are cranking really good but simply not firing is that correct?

took battery terminals off to clean them and turning over good and a short buzz after wait to start light goes out

This isn't chat. It's extremely hard to understand what you're saying/asking without complete sentences and punctuation.

Have you tested each battery? You have to test them with them isolated from one another. Load test each one.

Have you uncapped the fuel bowl to see if it's full? Also pull the top plug off the HPO reservoir and peer in to check the level.

sorry about lack etiquete today is my first time here but i will try harder to be more informative and descriptive i have not load tested batteries i just volt tested 12.75 both have not checked fuel bowl yet or hpo resovoir and should resovoir be full
