Need opionins on this set up

How reliable would this setup be stage 1s, tranny with valve body and torque converter, and tunes. Would it need an inner cooler? Or need a tranny cooler? How would eberything hold up having 245,000 miles.

what temp is your tranny currently running at? a tranny cooler is always gonna be one of the things you wanna add no matter what you got, and an intercooler will keep your egt's lower so you can keep in it longer, sounds pretty reliable set up tho, good luck

For sure the trans cooler over the intercooler. If your running an intake and exhaust i would'nt be to worried with the EGTs but always keep them in check.

As long as the intake and exhaust are flowing well, you shouldn't need an intercooler for stage 1's. Transmission cooler is a must, even for a stock setup.

Do you know what those would cost? I've never looked into them. Also tony is hard to get ahold of and get reburns from. But still considering.

paul at cptrucks.com and cary at ct performance have a pretty quick rate of kicking their chips out and they happen to sell tony, i thing raul at stealth automotive sells them too and gets them out pretty quick, try one of those guys it wont be slow, and i have no idea what a cooler and tc cost, never bought one before, my truck has an oversized one from the factory
