engine noise

Hey guys,I just put a Diamond Eye 4" exhaust on my OBS and when installing the Down pipe must have taken too much of the sound deadening material off to get the DP in,can anyone reccomend some type of mat I can put down under the carpet to quiet the cab a little,I hear too much motor now,tried to use undercoating but that didn't do much.

Dynamat, or something similar may work.

I just did a search and found somthing that is half the cost of Dynamat,it's called Fatmat. I watched a few vids on it and may truy this stuff unless someone has better advice.

if you really wanna get rid of it, dynamat the whole firewall and floor board, that should do the trick, there are other brands that are cheaper but the names escape me at the moment

its not insulation you need, your new dp is making contact somewhere im sure of it.

x2 on what STR said. Make sure your DP isn't contacting the firewall.
Aside from that, I ran FatMat in my old truck after installing the stereo system. Worked like a charm
