Opportunity to purchase Dana 60
I'm new to the forum. I am looking to upgrade my front end to the Dana 60. Found this D60 a few miles from my house.
"93 Ford Dana 60 front axle complete hub to hub single wheel. 4.10 gears ball joint 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern. Good for F250 to F350 conversion" He is asking $750 for the axle, no springs, but steering linkage is there. 126,000 miles on the donor truck that was totaled due to rear impact. Thoughts? |

if you have the cash it is, but you are going to want to swap to the 350 springs if its a diesel, your stock 250 ones are gonna be very stiff, they can be found cheaper, but usually the going rate seems to be $1k

Are the springs already sold/gone, or is he selling them separately? If the latter, just for S&G, see if he'll throw in the springs for that price. That'd make it a sweet deal.

You will need to make sure you get the track bar and track bar bracket, along with the driver side u-bolt plate.
