Front hubs

Hey everyone my front hubs are seized. They are the stock automatic ones and i heard if you hit them with a rubber mallet it will free them up? or what do you guys suggest i do before i buy new lockouts?

I would just buy manual hubs. They are much more reliable. Not hard to swap and I got mine used on eBay for 50$.

nope they are not in locked. it wont go into 4 wheel drive

well in that case.... go to a JY and find a set of manual locking hubs...ebay, craigslist, or but a new set from warn or such... they are really nothing but problems
