Should I ?

My cousin just wrecked his 97 F-350. The insurance company gave him a check for 9k. He told me if he was to bring it to a salvage company they would give him 450 bucks. He told me he would sell it to me for 400. The truck is repairable, actually I was surprised that the ins. co. totalled it. Should I buy this to fix or buy it to part out and keep some of the parts for myself? The motor (powerstroke) only has 130,000 on it. No rot what so ever on the truck.

Buy it. if the motor is okay in it then it is worth at least three times that, or fix it. if you do end up fixing it youll have a very nice truck for a very low price
