Headlight Harness?

Is it possible to get a stock complete headlight harness? The one in my truck has a couple screwed up sockets. Just wondering if I can get a new complete one.

You can buy new pig tails and replace the bad ones. Installing a new harness would be a PITA.

Like how bad? I know I can get pigtails, but would like to do it right once and only once. I just don't like having splices in wire if I don't have to. Guess I am kinda weird about stuff like that. If I don't have any other options, I will just deal with it, but I have lots of time and wouldn't mind having something to do.

A new harness is still going to have to be spliced at some point. It doesn't just plug in.

Oh, I was not aware of that. I guess I should had looked at it before I posted, I was just thinking about it or what my options were. I was thinking it was similar to the tail light harness.

Just solder in the new pigtails and heatshrink them and it'll be just like new.

I'll give you a hint on soldering. Put the solder on all of the wires individually and then all you have to do is lay the ends together and heat them up. Since the solder is already on the wires, the solder will flow together and you'll have a nice, neat connection.

Very simple stuff too, you could try a new harness from painless, splices in but draws from the batter instead of the switch.

Could you guys point me in a direction for the solder or is it like the solder for copper pipes? I literally have never done this before, so bear with me. Thanks.
