Next question: In dash oil pressure gauge....
It appears that its sticking and when i turn my truck off it doesnt drop down all the way to the left but seems to hang up and only go about half way down. Then when i fire her up she pegs out and then after a while drops down into the "normal" range, about where it sticks at. Has anyone else ever seen this? Is it something that should concern me? While gauges are on the list, theyre not in the current budget.....thanks for any feedback

Sounds like it's just the orientation of the needle. That "gauge" is really just an idiot light with a needle instead of a light. The sender is just a switch. When the engine's off (or the lube oil pump has failed), switch is open and the needle is all the way left. When the engine's running and pumping oil pressure, the switch is closed and the needle moves to about the "M". So if it's responding at all to the engine on/off, that's about all you can expect out of it.
