hpop for a stock truck with stock inj

if my hpop is bad is there any benefit to replacing it with a performance one or stock one? dont have any plans of bigger injectiors or any other big performance mods besides a sd idm, a chip, or a quick spool turbo housing

Stock will be fine. What you described in your other thread is classic CPS though.

a 17* HPOP will give you some performance and as far as I know won't cost any more than a new 15*

I agree... a T500 from terminator engineering will be the same or cheaper than a used hpop, and give you possibly better mileage, a quieter truck, more power, etc. Then if you decide to mod it, the gains will be magnified 10fold.

Hell I just sold a 17* was cheaper than a t 500, but the t500 will do better in the end.
