what to expect?

i bought a brand new AFE stage 2 Magnum Force intake... i got it for $270 which i thought was a great deal... im going to install it on sunday and was wondering what can i expect from my truck after it is on? what exactly will the intake do?

not much difference, it gets more air in to it, if I have calcuated correctly about .8 mpg increase. Other than that i realy cant say<<<<<<<<<BILL>>>>>>>>>>

i was actually quite surprised at what difference the intake made on my truck, enough power i could definately feel it and the turbo is way louder. definatley worth it.

Basically the intake is a base mod that will only give you real noticable gains once you start chipping and adding bigger and better things.

It allows your engine to breath better which will in turn help it get better mileage and more HP - although just the intake alone will be a very minor increase. You have basically done away with any air restriction of the stock box and once you add things to make your truck go fast, you will be able to realize all the potential of those mods because you did the intake to support them.
