Help me chief

I have a 97 f250 powerstroke 5spd with an mbrb 3" down pipe, ts performance 6 pos chip and the rest is stock besides a drop in k and n filter in my stock air box. No worries my afe intake will be here monday. Okay now my question is shouldnt my truck be blowing smoke with a down pipe and chip? Even on the highest setting of my chip I get absolutly no smoke, even doing like 40mph and throwing it in fifth gear trying to just dump fuel zero smoke! I know its kind of an abnoxious thing to want to blow smoke but c'mon you gotta admit its fun every now and then

Your getting to much air, smoke comes from excessive fuel, throw a bag over your intake it will smoke then.

I would advise against the AFE. check out the 6637 filter
what tunes does the chip have? does it feel peppy like it should? either you have good tunes that are perfect or you have a fuel delivery problem
