Key fobs

I have never changed out the battery in either one of my fobs,16years and still going,can't say that for the ones on my vette,4 times in 10 years.

This is a good place to throw my question out I guess, my fob for my 05 psd only works about 30 feet away, is that normal or could my battery be weak??

Mine has always worked from a distance ,we were on the 10th floor of a motel at Myrtle beach once and I didn't remember locking the truck so I tried it from that far up through a window and it worked,the wife says no way that worked and I says look for the flashing lights.

Mine works from at least 75ft. My dads tahoe started only working right up at the vehicle. We got a new FOB and still no change, so I'm thinking the problem is in the vehicle itself.

Mine works maybe 15-20 feet at most.

subscribed for the distance issue. Mine works maybe 25 feet away so it's pretty annoying. Wondering about replacement fobs or receiver issues.

I did notice with mine I get better distance from the side of the truck then head on for some reason,sometimes when I walk up to the truck from the front I have to be about 25 feet away before it unlocks,but from the side all the way across the parking lot is the norm.
