I have a 97 f250 4x4 with the dana 50 independent front suspension. I was wondering if the dana 60 from a 2003 powerstroke would bolt right up and if not what will i have to do to make it work. Heres the link to the axle i want to get:

The lug pattern is going to be different then your rear axle. SD's use a 8x170mm, and ours is 8x6.5"
I pretty sure the SD leafs arent Exact fit, but I hear about alot of guys doing a RSK and SD springs. I think theres better deals out there, I picked my 94 axle up with springs for $150 from a local junkyard. The 80's axles are more desirable with the stronger kingpin setup |

X2 SD spring perches are different. i belive cary at CT Performance has kits to adapt them if that is what you heart desires. keep you eye open for an OBS dana 60 in my opinion. then you dont have to change bolt patterns and also change the rear axle. or buy different afermarket rims of the same kind for 2 different years so everything matches and it has 3.73 and your truck most likely has 4.10s or 3.55
