no wait to start light
my cousin has a 97 f350 7.3, last spring i replaced glowplugs, one injector, uvc harnesses, and gpr. it has sat since last may. a few weeks ago he went to start it and it had no wts light. cranked but no fire. i figured he had cracked the fuel heater and blown the fuse. i checked all of the fuses today with a test light, all were good. still no light or start. gpr is not clicking with key. i checked power at the gpr and it has power to both small posts and the battery side large post. i jumped the relay across the large posts and still no fire. we tried to pullstart it and it wouldnt fire. tach moves when being pullstarted so cps is good. pcm and idm fuses are good.
any suggestions???????? |

now you just gotta figure out why you aren't getting fuel. have you made sure its full of oil? and if so, check the HPOP reservoir. are you getting fuel pressure?
unfortunately the lack of WTS light probably means wiring problem or bad PCM or IDM Last edited by atvrider93; 11-05-2011 at 11:11 PM. |
