low miles... 5 speed.... dana 60. cant really go wrong dude. is the 94 a powerstroke (94.5+) or a turbo diesel. the pre 94.5 is an IDI with a turbo on it i belive. cant really get a ton of power. you are limited with what you can do. also the IDI's had problems with cylinder wall cavitation due to the cylinder sleeves were thin and the cooling to the back of the engine sucked. something to think about. if you not lookin for a huge power truck and dont plan on doin a lot of mods them if the price is right....?? worth takin a look at

Check the turbo fins for wear and shaft play. Look around for rust. Check out the core support and the wheel wells especially. You might want to see what gearing it has depending on what you want to do with the truck

sound like a winner then..... listen for engine missing after its warm during the entire spectrum ot the RPM range slowly to listen for injector problems. look at the rear bolt on the exhaust manafold on pass side to make sure it hasnt snapped off due to high EGTs form bad turbo or excessive towing. liseten to the the transmission shifting between gears for syncros clipping. other then that check you oil and coolant for lack of maintainace and see who was driving it mostly to make sure it wasnt beat.

but seriosly with that milage, 5 speed, and the d-60, you have the peices of every truck we all peice together to make our trucks

JW... std cab or crew?

Check turbo for pitting and shaft play, blow by test (turn oil cap upside down, if it fly's off bad, if it vibrates off good) test drive, make sure 4x4 works good, check for leaks of any kind, and enjoy
