elaborate on what you mean with your abreviations..

im assuming icp is actually icp sensor but it doesnt matter it will start even when unplugged

check ipr nut to make sure its snug

what are cps's ?

diagnostics:

first get a fuel pressure

hook up a scan tool and see if you are building icp

Cam posistioning sensor. is CPS

the scan tool i have doesnt have a ICP sensor read out.
and i guess i could try a fuel pressure read.

I think the Regulator isnt reading, do the magnets go bad on these?

yes the ipr's do go bad but if things are snug it should not cause a no-start condition.

how much cranking have you done since having the icp sensor out? anytime we open the system there is usually quite a bit of cranking involved before they start

btw.. i now understand the confusion, cam position is usually abreviated cmp and crank is ckp

this is how most scan tools (including ids) abreviate those sensors

(dont crank while icps is out)

hard to judge the amount of cranking.

i dont think you would have hurt anything with what you have done, did you do any other service? what is the oil level? one thing you can do is isolate the banks, disconnect the oil line that feeds one of the banks and block of with a fitting... ah nevermind... both trucks are not starting so its something related to what you did, give me more details
