fitting a 03 intercooler to a 97?

So some one i know has offered me the stock intercooler setup off of his 03 7.3l. I have done some looking to see if it is a good idea or a lot of work to convert it to work on my 97. it would be nice to have an intercooler, even a stock one would be a benefit to none at all. anyone have any suggestions or tips, and is there anyone who has done this here?

You can use the intercooler but you will have to either make your own pipes or you can buy some from banks (just the pipes)

It is worth the work if you pull a lot, or plan on upgrading your HP in the future

if its a 7.3 intercooler then its pretty easy. just be prepared to spend a lil time on trimming enough out of the core support to fit the inlet/outlet tubes through.
