Boost/egts

How much boost should a 1997 7.3LPSD be getting? its completly stock? im getting about 13 to 15 pounds of boost right now. Also, what is the normal egt when cruising about 75 at 2 grand rpm? im reading between 700 to 820.

That's normal. Are you running a chip or tuner?

A good flowing exhaust and 3" downpipe will help with egt when adding a chip. You will get a little more boost (20-25 psi). When you change injectors, go ahead and look at some higher flow units. You would not belive the difference a set of stage 1 injectors makes. If you don't want to get bigger injectors, look at a 1.0 exhaust housing, or Quick spool housing.

ya, i was thinking of getting stage 2 injectors, stage 2 intake, and a bigger turbo. what brands would you all recommend? plus if i go with these bigger injectors and turbo, would i have to do anything with like the map sensor or idm?

You need a good clutch (South Bend) and a single mass flywheel conversion. You will also want to upgrade the HPOP and probably need more fuel. For a turbo, I would go with the H2
