anyone using a redhead steering box? foon there OBS

I haven't heard anybody using them..... also haven't heard of them until now..... or anybody having big problems with steering gears. Especially with stock ride height

Mine is getting loose and have been thinking about replacing mine. Never even thought about an aftermarket replacement, so it will be interesting to read what comes along.

Interesting, any idea of the cost? I added it to my list of bookmarks for future use.

mine is getting loose i have repalced all the spring bushings ( needed it anyway) but i still have more slop to get rid of. 2-3 inches in the streeing wheel. it appears to be in the box.

Wife put a Redhead in her RCLB a coupla years ago. Night and day, esp. combined with a Flaming River shaft and real u-joints instead of that glorified rag-joint down at the box. They say they have a stock of recirculating balls of sizes very closely spaced, and they measure the races of each core they get in, and precisely match the recirc balls to the specific races.
