Glow plug problems

I have a 95 f-250 with a 7.3 powerstroke in it. I am not geting any power to my glow plugs at all. It is obveous that I need to replace my GPR, but I was wondering why when I arc the 2 large posts together it still does not heat the plugs. I have power coming in, but if I put a screwdriver between the two large posts I don't get any sparks or anything. I replaced the GPR 1 time already but I think they may have given me a starter relay because it only cost me 23.00 at auto zone. I am pretty new to diesels so any help would be great

Are your actual glow plugs working? Arc with the screw driver and make sure you have power on both sides of the terminal.

If you've got power to both poles then one or more of your glow plugs are bad. You can check resistance on using a multi meter. Glow plugs are outside pins of each UVCH
