HOW-TO: Get into the valley of 7.3s...

So i figured id make a HOW TO.

For newbies or anyone needing help.

OBS 7.3 Valley tear up:

My goal was get out the IPR.
Did it in 5min, but iv done it over 40 times.

TOOLS
(What i used)
What you'll need:
Flat screw driver (12 inches) -Intake boot clamps/fuel lines-
3/8s drive 17"inch- ratchet with 1-1/8 4"deep socket,(For IPR)
1/2drive, 19mm No extension (For IPR nut)
1/2 13mm w/12" EXT regular ratchet.

STEPS:

1- Remove intake Y off of turbo, that feeds the Intake plenums
(in valley of engine) -Use the flat screw driver, and loosen the left side boot top clamp, and right side bottom clamp. Also take off the clamp on Turbo, DONT loose the RED gasket. After all clamps are loose pull up left side then right and Take it out.

2- Loosen Bottom fuel line and top fuel line with Flat screwdriver. Loosen Drivers side Fuelline Bottom clamp.

3- Use 13mm socket w/ext, Loosen the two bolts on the fuel bowl.

4- Disconnect connectors on pass side of fuel bowl.

5- loosen Fuel bowl drain tube on left pass side (side closest to you of fuel bowl) And twist the bowl (top side foward, bottom side back) it will easily take the Fuel lines off) Lift up and set to left of you. lines are still connected so be carefull.

6- Undo IPR connector, and Use 19mm socket take of sensor and parts.

7- Use 1 1/8th socket put it over the ipr till you get deep, and loosen with a good amount of force. USE a breaker bar if needed.

8- Thread out ipr and pull out. oil will go into valley so use a towel to clean out.

And your done!
