Remote Start?

I was looking into a remote start system for my truck. I work for Best Buy so I was tossing up 2 systems I have access too. I was looking into either the Viper 5901 system or Compustar 2w900fmr. What I was wondering is what y'alls opinion of the 2 are, and what would be the preference of the 2.

I get a lot of people telling me Viper, but nobody I've asked owns a diesel.

Also, the Viper unit will cost me more, but I'm just wondering if the cost is really gonna be what I need to go with.

Thanks in advance for the help

You need to find out if either have a delay for the WTS light.

I have had great experience with Viper systems.

I run a viper in my 00 and have installed one in one other 7.3. I intend to install one in my obs eventually as well. Do remember to install a diode on the tach wire so it doesn't drain your battery.
