stock tire size?.?

Getting a 1997 f350 rclb. Truck is stock ride height with the pretty Alcoa rims. What size tires are the Max I can put on this thing without rub.

285/75 wont rub, but anything much bigger may have issues rubbing in cirtain spots.

I was hoping to get a tad bigger being a 350. I got 285s on my stock 250.

I've seen 305/70r16's on a stock truck...He trimmed the corner of the bumper so they couldn't hit it. I've seen 315/75r16s on a truck that had the add a leafs.

OK. I'm wanting 305s....I don't mind a little bumper trim...but not hacking the thing all up.

my 94.5 had 305/70r16s on it (stock height) and the PO trimmed a little corner off the bumper. I didnt have any rubbing against any steering components either.
