95 7.3 F350 Sending Unit

The black plastic on the end of sending unit in my truck has broken to pieces inside the tank spent several hours picking it out and cleaning the tank out, my question is where can I find one identical to what I have cause I see none on Ebay or Napa online, is this a factory piece? Poor truck can't run right when you got chunk of plastic covering the pick up tube, and I don't care if I have to buy the whole unit I can't even find that.

It's been too long since I have looked inside a OBS tank but it sounds a lot alike a fuel pickup screen. Alternatively I also found a sump that could be retrofit to the tank which I kinda like the idea of... need a excuse to drop the tanks again.

I'd just install a compression fitting on the end of the pickup tube and extend it with more tubing. In SD circles it's referred to as the "Hutch mod." You'll have to measure to figure out how long the old plastic pickup unit was.
