This should be fun..

Just got my new-to-me '97 to replace the frame on my '95. Got it dropped off at the ranch and start tearing it down this morning. http://images3a.snapfish.com/2323232...3%3A5348nu0mrj
Outside and frame, which was the original purchase reason are good, but the inside and alot of the electronics are *&^$

Also the bed is pretty destroyed from the previous owners hacking out their 5th wheel attachement

Soo, I'm seriously considering pulling the cab/bed and swapping in the one out of my '95 which is clean. This should also make the trans swap easier, i can pull it with a engine hoist. Any thoughts/or comments, anyone done this before?

Trans is shot, and a ton of parts have been looted from the engine(alternator, battery cables, etc). Also, since this was a company/work truck, i'm a little worried about what kinda abuse these guys ran it thru
