Asked the same question a few weeks ago. I was told fort worth gear and us gear both have them. I was lucky enough to have another member offer me up for sale the gear ratio I wanted. They're really pricy new

I am running a US gear front Ring and pinion. Holding up fine.

Honestly, If your not making 600+ HP your not gonna break a tooth off your gear set. Whens the last time you saw someone break a set of 1 ton axles that was actually a Gear set failure.

your U joint, stock axles or front hub lock outs will bust way before gear teeth.

Well, being the truck is on 46's, I'm just kinda concerned about the strength. I wanna be able to step down on it in the mud and not constantly shread teeth off and stuff. I'll check into the ft worth gear. Thanks for the replies.

It's in my sig. Is it not showing up? It's just stock with the 15 inch lift, 46 inch michelin xml's, 20x12 dick cipek dc-2 rims, and an edge cs. Future mods are just intake and exhaust. Wanna keep the motor stock.

Your not gonna make enough power to break a gear set with a stock 7.3 motor even with the big tires.

The lock-out hubs are designed as a fuse in the system to break first before anything expensive breaks. Or a U-joint will break. I would be more concerned about tearing up the t-case or trans before the ring/pinion combo.
