Poss new diesel inspection help needed!!

Hey guys im going to look at a 93 f350 with the 7.3 IDI with a banks sidewinder turbo kit. Im just looking for some advice as to what to look for so far as lack engine and turbo maintenance. Im fairly new to the diesel world and i need to know what to look for. i need a truck thats going to hold up to long hauls. So anyone out there who can feed me advice as to what to look for in a solid used truck i would be very much obliged!!

Find a power stroke, I dont like idis everyone ive had to work on burns a ton of oil and leaks like a siv. Thats my opinion. Those engines have high compression and when you add a turbo to it that adds way more stress to everything

They work good but if you really want a truck to work hard and last long just find a late 94-97 psd, factory turbo, butt load of power, relatively easy to work on and operate
