"New" 96' Powerstroke!

Here you guys go. Purchased this truck this week as my first vehicle. It was sitting in a barn for 4 years, parked with new fluids. We were told it had no power. We replaced the batteries and it started right up and drove home. We paid 2k for it. Not too bad right? We plan on putting new fluids in for sure. What are some reccommended chips, air intakes, and exhausts that you all are high on? It has 216xxx miles on it.

Cody

From what I hear I got pretty lucky
Thank God for my dads truck finding skills. He has a 94' and 02' with 7.3's in em so he kinda encouraged that since he knows a little about them. We have never played with any hop ups though.

Damn dude, that's one HELL of a deal. I can't imagine being the guy who wanted to get rid of what he thought was a disabled vehicle, only to see it drive off the property under its own steam.

3" down pipe, tymar or afe intake, straight pipe, rosewood stage 1's, Tw tuned 6 pos chip, and terminator t599 hpop, btw gauges are a must, and should be before anything imho, call Paul at cptrucks.com for the 4 gauge like my avatar, my gauges are same design as my factory cluster. He can hook you up with everything but the stage 1 injectors from rosewood, he has them just not as "budget". Good luck and welcome to the org btw

Anybody know the cheapest places to get some of the above mentioned? Instead of the AFE, I think im going to do the 6637 Napa mod. I found the FRAM version of it for 33 bucks and I am sure i can get the other parts fairly cheap. Any other suggestions for hop ups? Oh, also where is the cheapest place for gauges? All of the ones I have found have been outrageous lol
