How to test CPS cable? - Intermittent symptoms

Hi, I am having problem logging into my account and have to create a new one for now. My truck has been having typical CPS symptoms for a while. Sometimes it gets better sometimes worse or a lot worse. I already tested two new ones, no help. Since the symptom comes randomly (or intermitently) I can not do the voltage test. How can I directly rig three wires directly from the ECU to the CPS to either confirm or rule out the cable? Thanks a lot for your help. Erwin
