hey i new to this site. and got some ?s my friend has 96 4x4 ext diesel and there is nothing done to it. how much stock hp does it hav. what max boost psi do they make stock. what is the highest boost psi can u go with out braken things. and u can tell me what rear end gears these hav. and what the easyest thing u can do to make power. i know k&n and stright pipe is easy. but anything else. is it safe to take the cat off the pipe

Stock HP should be 210-215 hp Check the valve cover decal to be sure

Something in the 205-215 range...maybe a little higher or lower..I am not totally sure. Most max stock boost out of a OBS 7.3 I would guess would be something like 22-25 psi. I would do headstuds if you plan on going over 40-45psi, you stock turbo can not efficiently or reliably handle much more than 27-29 psi. First before adding anymore fuel get some gauges, at least a pyro and boost gauge and I would recommend a tranny gauge if ya got an auto.

How come the k&n 4 SALE, THEY are dicent nt good or great but deicent.. I believe lost in NB,,, Took me a week to drive cross NB one night...... Bill

what DIY. and these ford turbos can not handle much more boost than 30 psi max. and whys that not build for that power
