Thumbs up FYI- Sluggish acceleration

97 PS 60K, manual.

Noticed my throttle response had been slowly diminishing over the last couple of months. Took it in to the local Ford shop, they said it was a bad MAP sensor (motor uses it to compensate for elevation) and that I was running rich. They replaced it- Amazing difference! Throttle is super responsive and boost is outta site. Hope to get a little better milage too. Not to cheap ($500 at a dealer), may be able to do on your own.

See ya,

Yes, the check engine light was coming on. That's why I had it in. They did do a couple other things too, I had questions about my turbo boost, so the inspected the vanes and cleaned the EBP tube, which was plugged. Mostly shop time.
