97 PS 60K, manual.
Noticed my throttle response had been slowly diminishing over the last couple of months. Took it in to the local Ford shop, they said it was a bad MAP sensor (motor uses it to compensate for elevation) and that I was running rich. They replaced it- Amazing difference! Throttle is super responsive and boost is outta site. Hope to get a little better milage too. Not to cheap ($500 at a dealer), may be able to do on your own. See ya, |

Yes, the check engine light was coming on. That's why I had it in. They did do a couple other things too, I had questions about my turbo boost, so the inspected the vanes and cleaned the EBP tube, which was plugged. Mostly shop time.
