i was wondering wat the boost is, and which garrett turbo is in it. I know there is no bov, but is there neway to mod it to get the bov, or just the sound a bov makes?

T-88 I think think, one of the smarter guys might want to chime in on this one.

As far as boost, somewhere in the nieghborhood of 16-18 PSI. As far as the BOV thing, no not really, there is no practical way to do it. It you want a funky turbo sound, do a seach here on Tymar, or NAPA filter intake mod for the PSD, it makes some prety cool sounds, and it's cheap and easy to do.

If you had an intercooler, it would be easy. I would try the DIY intake mod to get some more turbo sound and wait for the BOV if you make some more mods down the road.

the BOV vents turbo pressure when the throttle body is closed i.e. between shifts, this is supposed to stop pressure from backing up and slowing the turbo down, makes a nice little whoosh sound wistle sound when it blows off.

The same presuure is what we hear through the DIY intakes, on our PSD's

I Kind of think a BOV would be non-functional, since when you let off the hammer, boost will drop to zero, and there is no throttle plate to create a pressure back-up

Just my 2 cents....
